how to measure your ring size

  • Measure Existing Ring

    If you have a ring that fits your desired finger, measure the widest part of the inner band with a ruler (in millimeters) to obtain the diameter.

  • Find Ring Size

    Select the nearest measurement on the ring size chart (below) to identify your ring size.

  • Wrap Finger

    Wrap the base of your finger with string or a strip of paper.

  • Mark Meeting Points

    String: Mark the meeting point of the ends using a pen. Make sure it's snug!

    Paper: Fold the paper where the ends meet. Mark the folds with a pen.

  • Find Circumference

    Measure the string or paper with a ruler (in millimeters) to obtain the circumference.

  • Find Ring Size

    Select the nearest measurement on the ring size chart to identify your ring size.

tips for measuring

  • If the knuckle is larger than the base of the finger, measure both locations and choose a size that falls between the two.

  • Take your measurement when your fingers are warm. Finger size will fluctuate a bit due to temperatures, food consumption and body conditions. Typically, fingers are smaller in the early morning or when cold, and fingers on your dominant hand tend to be larger.
